Geographics and agricultural information on Kosova
Kosova is a territoruy in centre of Balkan Peninsula, with no access to a sea. Kosova borders with Serbia in Northeast, Macedonia (FYROM) in South, Albania in Southwest and Montenegro in Northwest. The area of Kosova is 10.908 km². The climate in Kosovo is continental with warm summers and cold winters. Kosova is densely populated with about 193 persons per km², and divided into 30 municipalities. The capital is Prishtina.

million inhabitants and has this ethnic composition:

3 Agriculture and forestry
The total surface of Kosova is 10.908 km square with 2 major plain areas: Kosova plain and the Dukagjin plain. The climate is characterizes as continental with some Mediterranean influence in the lower areas.
Kosova has a total landmass of nearly 1.1 million hectares (ha), of which 570.000 ha are agricultural land, 450.000 ha are forestry land and other part is consisted of the categories: urban land, traffic land, water areas and other areas. Data for the number of the livestock according to the size of farm, small or large, are collected from agriculture survey. In Kosova there is a number relatively big of agriculture household specialized for farming.
